The Nepal Premier League 2024 has kickstarted and will run till December 21 in Kirtipur, Nepal. The tournament is organized by the Cricket Association of Nepal, and will see as many as eight teams compete in a total of 32 matches.

Biratnagar Kings, Janakpur Bolts, Karnali Yaks, Kathmandu Gurkhas, Lumbini Lions, Pokhara Avengers, Sudurpaschim Royals and Chitwan Rhinos are the eight teams that are competing in the inaugural NPL season.

Match 7 sees Biratnagar Kings take on Lumbini Lions in the NPL 2024 on Wednesday, December 4. The Lions will be playing the first game of the tournament whereas Kings have played two and lost two.

The Lumbini Lions include Nepal cricket team captain Rohit Kumar Paudel whereas Aussie star Ben Cutting in their ranks. As for the Kings, their squad includes Sandeep Lamichhane and Martin Guptill among others.
